DroghedaLife.com – ‘Motoring Memories’ Competition
To celebrate the arrival to Drogheda of this newly launched used car buying platform, we have partnered up with the team at DroghedaLife.com and are looking for you, the local public, to share your best car-related experience / story with us. Simply send us in a couple of paragraphs, no more than 350 words, telling us about your own happy motoring memory to be in with a chance of winning your share in the €500 valued prize fund.
The deadline for entries is Friday 16th October 2020. All qualifying submissions will be published on DroghedaLife.com between 24th September and 16th October 2020, at which point 5 shortlisted stories will face the public vote to identify the top 3 most popular submissions. Winners will be announced on Monday 26th October 2020.
- 1st prize = €350 local gift voucher

- Open to Republic of Ireland residents only, living in or within 15 km of Drogheda;
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over;
- Only one entry per person;
- To enter this competition, please write (no more than 350 words) about your happiest motoring memory and submit it by email only to news@droghedalife.com no later than 5pm on Friday 16th October 2020;
- By submitting your entry to the email address above you agree to it being published, if selected, on the DroghedaLife.com platform and / or Autopoint.ie;
- Your email must contain your name, age, home address and telephone number;
- Public vote: Of all submissions received, the top 5 best stories will be shortlisted by our judges for a public vote. Details of the public voting system will be announced through the DroghedaLife.com and Autopoint.ie social media pages ahead of the public vote phase;
- Winners will be announced on Monday 26th October 2020 and communicated with via phone, email and social media;
- The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into;
- The prize is not an individual prize and cannot be exchanged for cash;
- Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries invalidated by technical problems beyond the control of the Promoter;
- Details of participants and winners shall be retained by the Promoter for the sole purpose of the Promotion. Participants may withdraw their consent to the retention of such data at any time by declaring such withdrawal to the Promoter;
- By participating in the Promotion, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions;
