Rathdown Motors Goes HondaRathdown Motorswas was established in 1984 by Mark Turley and now celebrates 26 years in business with the addition of the Honda franchise. Rathdown Motors premises in Terenure, Dublin is a landmark site and is one of Ireland’s premier retail dealerships. The company was previously a Honda main dealer until 2003 and an after-sales dealer to 2006. Dealer Principal James Hennessy, formerly Managing Director of Maxwell Motors in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, also has a background in selling Honda cars. James was appointed Dealer Principal of Rathdown Motors in November 2008 and brings with him almost 30 years of experience in the motor industry. Speaking on Rathown Motors reappointment as Honda Main Dealer, James said: “It is like coming home – we are delighted to have the Honda brand back in Rathdown Motors and particularly in Terenure. Both Joe Turley (Director) and I have always been passionate about Honda cars – their looks; their build quality and Honda’s advanced technology, and we are very excited to be back with Honda as we enter a new decade. We are now adding the Insight family hatchback to the hybrid range and later in the year we look forward to the introduction of the sporty CR-Z.
