Morrissey Motors Present Peugeot 3008 to Brian Cody

Morrissey Motors, Main Peugeot Dealers in Kilkenny, have presented Brian Cody with a new Peugeot 3008 Crossover 1.6 HDi diesel. Dealer Principal. Kevin Morrissey, gave the keys of the 3008, winner of the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2010, to Kilkenny hurling manager, commenting: “we have built a strong association between the Peugeot Marque and Brian Cody, a giant in the sporting world. The Peugeot 3008 crossover was voted Continental Irish Car of the Year 2010 by the Irish Motoring Writers Association (IMWA). All 27 members of the IMWA voted, awarding points on criteria ranging from innovation and safety to space, comfort, build quality, driving quality and value for money. The Peugeot 3008 scored a massive total of 239 points well ahead of the nine other finalists: Mercedes Benz E-Class (199), Kia Soul (198), Honda Jazz (169), Volkswagen Golf (165), Opel Insignia (164), Honda Accord (132), Volkswagen Polo (120), Renault Grand Scenic (70), Renault Kangoo (28).

The Peugeot 3008 scores big on quality, reliability, roadholding and safty. It has the flexibility and space of an MPV, the rugged looks of an SUV and the vehicle dynamics of a family hatchback. Priced from €24,780 plus dealer delivery related charges, standard equipment on the entry level SE version includes ESP, ABS, electronic brake force distribution, corner brake control, traction control, six airbags (driver, passenger, side and curtain), hill assist, electric childlocks and seat belt fastening warning, manual aircon, space saver spare wheel, remote central locking with deadlocks, multi position boot floor, split tailgate and front electric windows.
