RENAULT DOUBLES THE SCRAPPAGE, DOUBLES THE SAVINGS AND EXTENDS THE SCRAPPAGE TO CARS OVER 8 YEARS.

Renault Ireland introduced a scrappage scheme in September 2009, and now offers a double scrappage (Renault + Government) on cars aged 10 years and older and also offers up to €3,300 trade-in allowance on any brand, year, make or model.

In addition, Renault has extended the €1,500 Scrappage plus up to €3,300 trade-in allowance on cars 8 years or older.

Eric Basset, Managing Director, Renault Ireland, says “The Renault scrappage scheme coupled with the government scrappage has certainly shown an improvement in orders for 2010. Renault is being innovative in extending the scrappage deal to cars over 8 years and our Dealers are delighted to be offering cleaner, safer, more economical cars to the Irish public at very affordable prices”.
