DUBLIN DRIVER WINS CLASSIC MARATHON

One of the toughest rallies - the Classic Marathon - was won by Dubliner Frank Fennell, driving an Alfa Romeo Guiletta during the 6 day, 2,500km event. Over 65 entrants from all over Europe experienced very wet conditions in Slovakia, Croatia and Austria. Fennell had a close fight to win by only 19 seconds - and now bids to regain the FIA European Road Rally Championship title which he previously won in 2004. The last event in the championship is the Rally of the Tests in Scotland in October
