DACIA DUSTER - PRICE BUSTER AT €14,990 By Brian Foley
The 1.5 litre diesel Dacia Duster goes on sale in January 2013 at the remarkably affordable price of
€14,990 for an SUV in Band B tax category. This is a well built and finished compact SUV that drives well on the road in front-wheel-drive mode. For an extra €4,000 there is the alternative of 4-wheel-drive with
excellent off road ability and additional traction and safety in treacherous weather and hazardous road conditions.
All Dacia models will come with five years unlimited mileage warranty, plus low servicing costs. The Dacia
Duster will be sold through nine dedicated Dacia Dealerships around the country, with attractive finance packages available.
Built in India, the Duster 's 1.5 litre/110bhp diesel engine is a Nissan unit. Dacia is an established brand
in Europe and North Africa, and no doubt at the launch price the Duster is set to be an instant success in Ireland.
The Dacia Sandero hatchback will also be introduce in January next, followed later in the year by the
Sandero Crossover and Grand Sandero.
